Hi Everyone!

Reading Champs!
This blog is to celebrate crocodiles old and new...with funny antics, cool teaching techniques and strategies, awesome projects and super awesome students! Have fun looking at the pics and make sure you write and let me know how you are doing and tell about a favorite 2nd grade "crocodile" experience of your own. If you have a cool picture to share, just e-mail me the photo and I will upload it! FUN! Take a look below for some of my favorites over the years!

'Crocodile Class of 2007-2008'
Here we are...relaxing for a bit of organized fun after a hard day of work! Our class had such great community and had a blast in the side courtyard playing with the parachute! Can you tell that testing was over? Hooray!
Describing Sunflowers!
Discovering Painted Lady Butterflies!
Ahhh! Poetry comes ALIVE with our layered curriculum of Life Cycles and Inquiry Based Science! What a perfect time of discovery and creative writing! We specifically experimented with personification and visualization, to "show, and not tell" about a topic and thinking "thick" questions...not "thin" ones. It was fantastic! See more poetry/science stations below with classes of 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
